First, who should rent this?

You do not need to be an athlete to run this bike.  Anyone 16 years of age or older! This is a fun adventure and “you party with people you like!”  There are 14 seats on board with the possibility of 10 people pedaling, however you may have as few as 8 peddlers.

Peddlers vs. Riders?

There are 5 peddlers on each side of the bike.  Two of the side seats are just for looks so you can trade a seat if needed.  There is also a bench on back for 2 passengers to just enjoy the ride.  The Boise Bike Bar requires at least 6 people to pedal the bike and believe us the more the merrier and easier to get this bike around!

Can we make our own route?

Give us a call and let’s see what we can work out!

What about beverages onboard?

We provide a cooler to store your beverages that need to be poured in a RED SOLO cup that we provide.

What if the weather is not perfect?

The Bike Bar has a roof to protect against sun and some rain.  Also, we have ponchos available for purchase at a $1 each, so you can make the best of a rainy day!   Unless, Mother Nature makes it unsafe for the peddlers then we will forge on!

Who’s the Boss?

Boise Bike Bar always supplies a Captain that will guide you and your friends around.  The Captain will take charge and enforce the necessary rules if needed.   Tips will be gladly accepted for a job well done!

Can we have food onboard?

You may want food and by golly you can bring it!  We don’t provide any of the food or beverages on board as we are strictly BYO (Bring Your Own).  Just remember, although you only go 6 miles per hour you are responsible for securing the items on board as we will not tolerate littering and it would be a real bummer to stop the fun to pick up lost items!

What if you return late?

As mentioned in the policy it is $25 fee for every 10 minutes the bike is not returned on time.  We hate to charge a fee, but we have to be responsible for the next tour!

Is Music Allowed?

YES!  What’s a party without music?  Thanks to technology we can stream music onboard through pandora or plug your iphone or ipod in!

Does the Boise Bike Bar run all year long?

Weather permitting it can run, but not in snow or icy conditions.  Football season in Boise is primetime and what better way to stay warm then pedal around with a nice beverage in a red SOLO CUP?

What if I need to reschedule how will I get a refund?

  • Cancellations with a 30+ days notice will be refunded for 100% of the tour price
  • Cancellations within 7-30 days will be refunded 50% of total tour price or a 90 day rain check will be issued
  • Cancellations within 7 days will not be refunded but a 90 day rain check will be issued

What if it is just a few of us wanting to go for a ride?

Perfect, we can help find another group.  Not guaranteed, but we will try! Isn’t that how most of the fun happens anyhow when meeting new people?
